About King George V Memorial Park, Kowloon
King George V Memorial Park is a historic park in Jordan, beside Canton Road, built in 1940 and officially opened in 1941. It keeps traditional Chinese touches, including a red-and-green tiled gateway, a palace-style compound wall, a pavilion and banyan trees growing along a stone wall. It makes a quiet, shaded stop after Temple Street or the nearby Kwun Chung streets.
